DCSPEEDTEST is designed for the generation that grew up on high-speed wifi and has zero patience for lag. We don't just tell you numbers; we tell you if you can actually survive on the internet.
The website measures your browser connection to Cloudflare's speed-test network using the open-source Cloudflare Speed Test library. It measures download, upload, idle latency and jitter. When available, latency measured during download and upload is compared with idle latency to describe bufferbloat.
Results describe this device, connection, server route and moment. They are not a guarantee of performance to every service or proof that an ISP is deliberately throttling traffic. Wi-Fi, VPNs, background transfers and device limits can affect the result. Repeat tests at different times and compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet.
The test transfers data and can use hundreds of megabytes. Check your mobile data allowance before starting. Completion time depends on your connection; it is not guaranteed to finish in ten seconds.
