1. Terms of Use Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of DCSpeedTest. By using our tools, you agree to:
- Service Delivery: DCSpeedTest provides internet speed diagnostics as a free, public service. All network tests are provided "as-is" without any warranty of continuous availability.
- Usage Restrictions: You may not use our platform or extension to conduct automated scanning, denial of service attacks, scraping, reverse engineering, or scraping test nodes.
- Intellectual Property: All source code, graphic designs, interfaces, and branding components are proprietary property and protected under international copyright and trademark legislation.
2. Limitation of Liability
DCSpeedTest and its developers shall not be liable for any damages, connectivity losses, or bandwidth charges resulting from running speed tests, using our Chrome Extension, or applying local network configurations. Bandwidth speeds measured are estimations based on real-time routing to Cloudflare CDN nodes.
3. Cookies Policy & Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to operate our digital products. They generally fall into the following categories:
- Strictly Necessary Local Storage: Used locally inside the Chrome Extension and Android app to store your theme configuration (dark/light) and active language settings.
- Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense): Third-party ad vendors set cookies on the web portal to deliver contextual ads and prevent repetitive banners.
- Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics): Used on the web portal to capture anonymous traffic trends to help us monitor performance.
4. How to Manage Cookies

Disabling advertising cookies will not prevent ads from displaying, but they will no longer be personalized based on your interests. For the Chrome Extension, uninstalling the extension will instantly purge all local storage configurations.
